Card Making Charity Challenge and GIVEAWAY

Yesterday we launched our three month fundraising challenge to make cards for charity.  Why not come and join us and help great causes?

All you have to do is make 5 cards, any size, with envelopes and in sealed bags (if you can't don't worry we'll add these) and send them to the Ben's Beanies 5 Card Challenge (PO box to open in October). They will then be sold at a pop up Christmas event and also given to the two charities we are fundraising for, The British Liver Trust and Cardiff City Hospice Trust for them to also sell. All proceeds will be split equally between the two charities. Every penny raised goes to the charities, all admin costs for the challenge are met by Ben's family.

Ben was my nephew, he died in December 2017 from diagnosed Type 1 diabetes. Nothing to do with lifestyle, it's an autoimmune condition which can be fatal and was in Ben's case. He was involved in charity projects at the time and we have carried on the work he began. Ben also donated his organs following his death, something he had expressed his feelings about not long before he died, each of the 5 cards represents a life saved or improved by one of Ben's donations.

If you want to join in you can make any cards, birthday, thank you, bereavement, wedding, new baby, birthday age cards, congratulations, engagement, Christmas or anything you fancy. You can make 5 cards the same or 5 different designs and you can submit more than 5 cards if you wish. They can be as elaborate or simple as you wish and can be aimed at any gender and age group. The choice is yours. Please feel free to add your stamp or label to the cards and also feel free to add your blog/shop/FB/Pinterest or You Tube channel to the wall in the challenge group.

If you would like to join in then please go to the Ben's Beanies 5 Card Challenge Facebook group for full details and to keep up with what's happening or message me here for more information if you'd prefer.

Later today I will be picking 4 names out of a hat to receive a freebie card making gift which is suitable for beginners as a launch celebration giveaway so head over quick to Facebook and join in with that.

The kit will enable you to make the cards below.

Even if you can't get involved or don't want to, please share the challenge with friends in the crafty world as they might want to join us.

Thank you so much. There is a video to go along with the card kit to show how to put them together.  too.
