Weekly Scrap Buster

As I'm starting off in a new craft space and obviously want to keep it tidy and uncluttered I thought it would be a good idea to pop all of my off cuts and stamp sets I've used in a week to one side and then at the end of the week have a little session where I make things to use up the left overs so that I'm not carrying any over into the new week and not having to find storage space for it all. I'll also use the stamp sets I've used that week again which will mean I get more use out of my sets.

Well at least that's the plan.  I will try my best to film this each Friday and upload on Saturday but this week I'm a little late (it's Sunday today) because I couldn't resist the glorious weather yesterday which gave me the chance to finally sort out our new garden. It's not very big but it was becoming rather out of control.

I'm also going to film what I came up with and insert little snips of making the projects and also show any cards I may have received that week in the same video. I love to share the cards other people send me so this seemed like a great idea to include in my weekend video.

So week one was this week and this is what I came up with from my scraps from other projects completed throughout the week.

I'm going to enter this one into Stampin' Addicts UK May Challenge as it fits the remit of celebrating a retiring In-Colour. The pinks on this are mainly Berry Burst.

More of the same but different. I might add this one to the #simplystamping movement as there is nothing but stamping going on and a little bit of aqua blending.

This one is heat embossed in gold, very simple but very elegant and perfect for a little card to go with a gift to a bride on her big day or for a hen party or bridal shower gift or just a lovely way to send a letter to a friend on her big day to keep and cherish.

These little cards are all 3 x 3 inches and were fantastic fun to make. The one at the top is heat embossed and looks fabulous in real life, the one at the bottom is a simple Whisper White card base with a single die cut glued on which was cut from gold foil and the colourful one just used up tiny pieces of DSP.

Thank you for dropping in, I do have a video to go with this post showing these cards off in all their glory and also showing cards I've received this week as well as snippets of me making them as I mentioned earlier. You can see that below.

Have a great Sunday.
