Hi and thank you for dropping in to my blog!
Today I have this really cute Valentine's card to show you, you can find the video tutorial here. It was my first ever voice over type video. I had not choice but to make it that type of video as the background noise in the original footage was horrendous! This house is getting pretty noisy with the puppies having free run right now.
Anyway I chose this sketch for the fifth week of the Positively Papercraft sketch challenge because I wanted to tease in people who are newbie card makers with something hugely prescriptive but I also wanted to see how the more experienced card makers put their own spin on it and interpret the design. Sometimes I think it's amazing to see the different takes on something which seems to be likely to produce exactly the same results from everyone.
So here's hoping that we get lots of lovely designs entered for the final week of January.
My card was a real mishmash of products, mainly Stampin' Up! but I also threw in a base from The Works and a freebie stamp from Stamps By Chloe and a stencil mask by Clearly Besotted and I used some new, some current and some retired Stampin' Up! products. So it was a real reflection I feel of what we papercrafters have lying around waiting to be used.
If you want to join in head over to Positively Papercraft and have a go, you'll find all of the sketch challenges in the photo albums there.
Have fun and have a fantastic weekend! May it be filled with lots of opportunities to craft.
