I'm joining the papercrafting #usewhatyouhave movement online and making a conscious effort to buy less and to use more of what I already have. No more saving that favourite paper for a special project that never comes, I'm digging through the stash and am determined to use it.
I started off my little You Tube mini series of projects with this gorgeous due of cards which use a paper stack I was gifted and absolutely love called Botanical Garden by Craft Sensations. I used several sheets of the paper, using a tearing technique to add dimension and interest. I also used up some bulap ribbon I've never used before and some card blanks, starting to thin down the huge collection of them which I've managed to amass.
The only new thing here was the punch and sentiment which were both Stampin' Up! from the Butterfly Gala combo of stamp set and punch.
I loved making these cards and it felt good to not only get some of the stash out and in use but to know that these cards were heading out as RAKs to hopefully raise a smile or two.
Why not join in and dig down into that stash and start using it?
Have fun and thanks for dropping in.
