I've not been feeling too well this week, just a wretched cold. I'm always mindful of being grateful that a cold is the worst I have to face. It left me feeling a bit lacking in creativity and I didn't even fancy shopping for stash, that's how bad it got.
Anyway it's all picking up a bit now but before it did I took a couple of easy options to put together some Halloween projects.
This first one used a downloadable template which was super easy to print and use. I bought it from an Etsy store for less than five pounds which is good value considering it's mine forever and comes pre-decorated. I did intent to decorate it up some more as I stated in the video but I kind of lost my mojo and forgot and besides it doesn't really need anything adding.
The link to the item in the store is in the description of the assembly video which you can find by clicking HERE.
The second one used Toil and Trouble DSP from Stampin' Up! adhered onto Whisper White cardstock bases which were cut from a coffin template I made. I give the dimensions in the tutorial video which you can watch by clicking HERE.
You can do as I did and string together with bakers twine. This is Black and Gray from a retired Stampin' Up! catalogue and you can add letters too, as many or few as you like. In good weather you could you use this outdoors and wrap fairy lights around it or laminate the panels to make it more durable. Why not coat in glittery PVA to make a really sparkly durable finish? You could use it to peg photos to from an instant party photo booth or ghoolish recipies or scary stories to be read out at your party. Whatever you do with it, it will definitely be a talking point at your scary shin dig and it's so easy to make.
Hope you enjoyed these super easy projects for when the mojo is just not flowing as fast as usual for whatever reason.
Have a great weekend.
