I received a lovely little surprise of a birthday gift from the wonderfully talented Ann Melvin of Positively Papercraft last week. Included in with the absolutely divine card which Ann had made was a little Forever Friends stamp set and the cutest pack of 4x4 papers.
I had to put them to use straight away and came up with a couple of little projects. All of these have videos as well as there being a video on my channel showing the 'unboxing' of Ann's gorgeous gift. I was a little bit emotional because it is such a difficult time right now for my family and there is little to feel happy about and just receiving the gift really did hit the spot. It reminded me how we do need to follow those prompts even when we're super busy to just reach out and send a little hand made something to someone now and then. We have no idea how needed it may be. You can watch that unboxing video by clicking HERE.
The first of my makes was this gorgeously cute fridge magnet, the tutorial video for that is available by clicking HERE.
The other two are rolled into one tutorial video available HERE and are both cards. I went for a luxurious grown up feel in one card and for a more whimsical playful feel in the other card. I wasn't happy with my waterblending but managed to cover it up a little bit with the absolutely fabulous Thank You sentiment.
Thank you for dropping in, it's always appreciated.
