I've never done one of these before so I figured it was time I gave it a shot. I didn't really have a clue what I was doing... as usual. I took a 12 x 12 sheet of Tranquil Textures DSP from Stampin' Up! and began to cut it up. I ended up with a quite a lot of pieces.
Eventually using some Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig card stock I made 14 cards, but could have made more. To make life easier and to avoid too many left overs I used a retired scallop edge punch with some of the card stock to make a trim. I also used some of the tiny strips to add a little something to a couple of the cards.
Again in the interests of keeping it simple I stamped using both Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig inks onto Whisper White and used a scalloped punch to press the sentiments out and then used a larger circle punch to pop out disks of Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig from scraps.
I used dimensionals to add these to the cards and that was that, the result is in the photo.
Now you could use whatever you wanted to use to add to the basic cards I made, ribbon, bows, embellishments but I like them as they are and was pretty chuffed to have 14 cards to add to my stash.
The video with measurements and all details of the stamps used is available by clicking HERE. I used A Good Day Stamp Set and chose 3 of the stamps for my cards.
