Easel Top Drawer Gift Box

This cute little thing was copied from a project I saw for Father's Day on the Stampin' Up! Facebook page but I obviously changed the colour scheme and didn't have any instructions as it just flashed by in my news feed. So I made it up and there is probably a better or easier way to do it out there but this is my take and I LOVE IT! My prototype used Melon Mambo and some of the new designer series velum. Not sure where I got the polka dot DSP from, it is Stampin' Up! and may be a retired stack. I was using scraps as it was my first attempt at getting the measurements right. I popped my gem onto a dimensional to give more height as a stopper but it looks silly and wasn't needed. A mini dimensional would have worked better if I did need some height.

It's so versatile, with different uses as a gift box and different ways to create a stopper and a pull for the drawer it's just endless what you could do to customise this and make it your own project. For this version that I made for my video tutorial I used Blushing Bride and Powder Pink Fresh Florals DSP (retired).

The video is below if you want to see how I cobbled it together.  Have fun making this if you decide to give it a go.
