Shirt Sleeve Quick and Easy Card

This card is so easy for the beginner to card making or paper crafting yet it's so eye catching and fun.

I saw a version of this as an entry to a monthly Tic Tac Toe challenge over on the Joy of Sets Facebook group and just loved the simplicity of it and the way a couple of pieces of DSP and a button had been used to symbolise a man's shirt... pure genius shared by Denise Williardt Ferrari

So I recreated it as a stash scrap buster project. It has unusual dimensions which are all detailed in inches and centimeters on my video tutorial which is accessible by CLICKING HERE.

I used mainly Basic Black cardstock to create this easel fold card which was kept in place with a stopper made using the lovely Tailored Punch after stamping You're Inspiring onto Whisper White. I fixed this to the base with a few dimensionals to give it lift.

I wanted a stripey DSP so I went again for a scrap, this time of retired stock Fruitstand but this has popped up on the Clearance Rack a couple of times so keep an eye out there it may well come around again. There are lots of stripey DSPs to choose from though so don't let it stop you just because this one is retired.

Have fun with this, it's so easy and great for scrap stash busting. I hate to see paper products wasted and try to send as little as possible to recycling.

Don't forget you can shop with me by clicking on the side image or by clicking HERE.

Have a great run in to the weekend.
