Flower seed gift box

This cute little flower container inspired box holds a secret behind its pretty floral cascade. Behind it there is a box containing little packets of flower seeds which have been re-wrapped and popped into coordinating envelopes. It doesn't need to be used for flower seeds, you could pop tea bags in, little packs of herbs for someone who loves to cook, loose teas or just fragranced sachets to use in drawers or linen cupboards. If you used a little water tight container you could gift plant plugs or small seedlings in here too.

The box section measures 2.5 inches all around and the little cute envelopes, made by self stamping Whisper White using a variety of fabulous Stampin' Up! inks are made using the Envelope punch board, starting life as 5 x 5 inch pieces and ending up as 3 x 2.5 inch envelopes.

I made the flowers using some retired products including the retired Petite Petals stamps and punch and So Succulent stamps and dies.

I used the wood plank embossing folder on Sahara Sand for the container, all set onto a Very Vanilla background. I added a little platform of a 3 x 3 inch piece of Very Vanilla topped off with a two and six eighths square piece of Sahara Sand.

I made this for a demonstrator team  challenge to make anything using an embossing folder.  I'm pretty sure that my upline and team leader will share our efforts on her blog at some point so watch out for that on www.positivelypapercraft.co.uk.

Of course there is a video to go with this so check that out HERE for more precise instruction on how to make this cute little gift or craft fayre piece.
