Card Making for Beginners

I striped things right back for this tutorial and show beginners just how simple it is to make a cute card (or two) with no specialist equipment and minimal supplies.

Let's face it, it can be an expensive business building a stash but nobody needs a huge stash to begin with.  If you choose a quality card stock in a couple of colours, a nice DSP stack, a couple of complimentary ink shades, a block and  a stamp set, you have enough to make a huge selection of cards.

Mix in some pre-loved or bargains from the Clearance Rack or Retiring List with some quality new essentials and you will be making fantastic quality projects in no time. As you develop your skills with the basics you can build up your stash and expand your work to become more intricate and more complex. However a lot of the most successful crafters, with enormous stashes and years of experience still make gorgeous creations with a minimum of supplies.

Give it a whirl.

Have fun!
