Achieving the Impossible

I did it and to be honest it wasn't that difficult.

The impossible card is the latest new kid on the block of card making designs and although it does look like it's made of two pieces it is just one.

There are a lot of fussy pieces to decorate it but it's great for a class to keep people busy for a while and to use up lots of scraps.

I used retiring products for my purple and white version. Fresh Fig from my Fresh Florals stack was the main feature with some Whisper White and Perfect Plum cardstock. I used a Fresh Fig ink to stamp my sentiment from Just Add Text and the butterfly from Butterfly Basics and then die cut the butterflies using the Butterflies Thinlets, also cutting out a vellum layer for each one. The only other thing I used were a couple of faceted gems.

A lovely looking card and a fun project. Why not give it a go? I do have a video tutorial which was inspired by other crafters who are credited on the video and in its description.

This week is all about recreating something inspired by someone else and this is the second in my mini series with the first being a card I re-created from the front of the new catalogue pre-order flyer.

Have fun giving it a go and if you want to see that video CLICK HERE.

If you'd like to buy any of the products used CLICK HERE.

Have a great run into the weekend.
