This fab box would be ideal for hand made chocolates although I used it for hand made wax melts but I guess the same principle would work for any small items that you'd like to gift in a fancy way.
In my video tutorial (you can click here for that) I make this box to fit some Christmas themed wax melts and the box fits inside a cracker style box for extra wow with your gifting.
It's so easy to make and is a basic box which measures 6.5 x 1.5 x 0.75 inches with a removable flush fit lid which measures the same apart from being just 0.50 inches deep.
You need a piece of cardstock 8.75 x 4 for the box, scored at 1.25 on all four sides
For the box inserts you need two pieces of cardstock which measure 7 and 1/16 x 1and 7/16 scored at 3, 3.5 and 4 on the long side
For the base plate/reinforcement of the top insert you need a piece of cardstock measuring 6 and 3/16 by 1 and 3/8
For the lid you need a piece of cardstock measuring 8 x 3 inches scored at 0.75 inches on all four sides
For the cracker you need a piece of DSP measuring 12 x 7.5 inches. Score on the short side at 1.75, 3.5, 5.25 and 7 inches. Score on the long side at 1.75, 2.25 and 2.5 from each end.
I added a sentiment and some ribbon and popped a strip of DSP onto the top of the box for decoration, you can add anything you choose to yours.
Have fun making these.
