These reusable advent calendars can be made with any number of sides and can have boxes to stash goodies and treats in or little envelopes to pop in money, IOUs or as this one was made for, to inspire small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness for others at this time of year.
They are made using Stampin' Up! products, with a base of triangular shapes made from cardstock and then layered up with DSP.
This one also has die cut stars backed with foiled vellum and holds a battery tea light or candle or a small set of battery operated LED fairy lights and doubles up as a pretty lantern.
They fold flat when they're done with so can be used again next year and are ideal for reception desks where you may want to replenish the box a few times each day to give visitors and guests a treat.
All you have to remember is to keep all shapes the same size, allowing an extra inch for each second panel so that you can score flaps for joining together. You can make them as short and wide or as tall and thin as you like.
The boxes on the green one have been staggered around to prevent a bit of a traffic jam up there where the top gets thinner so think about things like this when planning out your calendar.
Have fun and I'd love to see any you make and share on Instagram, please #craftylittlethingsuk so I can have a look.
Have a great week.
