Easy Batch Christmas Card #6

This was a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary using the fir tree but in blues rather than greens and not a bauble or fairy light in sight let alone an angel on the top.

This time the prototype and the one made on the video (which is live now on my You Tube channel) are more or less the same except I didn't use my stamping platform so stamping was done by good old eyeballing so they not be perfect replicas.

I used a Whisper White card base in the usual 4 x 4 and added a 3.75 inch Soft Sky mat and then a stamped Whisper White layer.  I stamped this up using Soft Sky, Dapper Denim and Basic Black inks and used stamps from the Seasons Like Christmas stamp set.

The video shows better how I did the stamping but it's a three layer process starting with the trunk, then two layers of foliage. I also used the little snow flurry stamp.

I made a super simple sentiment layer which would be so easy to stamp out onto long strips and cut up with a trimmer to make lots of. I used the sentiment stamp from Better Together which  is a real favourite of mine if you hadn't guessed.

I stamped it in Dapper Denim onto white and a Soft Sky layer.

We're almost there now, one final design to come tomorrow and then the box and the voting begins so I can give away this fab set of cards and also so I can finalise and get to ordering supplies for my Christmas Cheer event.

Thanks for joining me.
